The newly opened Oyster Inn, situated in Butley, is a lovely pub serving real ale and traditional pub grub. You can see their website here for more information. Also, Chillesford offers the Froize Freehouse Restaurant and Orford boasts several pubs.
The location is convenient for Orford and Woodbridge. Snape Maltings, the renowned concert venue, has scenic views of the Alde estuary, fine dining, shopping, as well as a regular farmers' market on offer just a short drive away.
The village hall also hosts a limited number of larger camping and caravan rallies and has proved popular as a summer folk festival and scouts camping site.
